I believe that agriculture, food, and the natural world aren't just subjects to teach, they're pathways to connection and meaningful learning. For several years, I've worked at the intersection of education, agriculture, and community development, and I've seen firsthand how growing food can grow people too.
Currently, I work as an Urban Agriculture Education Specialist where I support Pre-K-12 teachers in building their students' agricultural literacy through thoughtfully designed programs and resources. My background includes high school and college teaching, doctoral research in agricultural education, and experience in UX design and instructional design - each experience shaping my approach to creating engaging learning experiences.
